What is Soft Computing

What is Soft Computing : Introduction of soft computing

Definition of Soft Computing :: Lotfi. A. Zadeh 1992   " Soft computing is an emerging approach to computing which parallel the remarkable ability of the human mind to reason and learn in a environment of uncertainty and imprecision"

Aim of Soft computing :it is differs from conventional (hard) computing. Its aim is to exploit tolerant of imprecision, uncertainty, partial truth and approximation.

Imprecision:  Here the model feature are not the same as  the real ones but close to them.
Partial Truth: Hear the model feature are near about real ones.
Uncertainty : Hear we are not sure that the feature of model are the same as that of the entity.
Approximation : Hear the model feature are similar the real ones but not same.

Soft computing is to develop intelligent machine and provide solution of real world problem which is difficulty to model mathematically.
Soft Computing is not a combination or mixture rather soft computing  is a partnership in which each of the partners contributes or share a distinct methodology for addressing problem in its domain.

Soft computing = Evolutionary Computing + Neural Network  + Fuzzy Logic.

Evolutionary Computing = Genetic Programming + Genetic Algorithm + Evolutionary Programming + Evolution Strategy
